What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, these are permanently deleted straight away:

• Your profile: name, email, phone, address, date of birth, profile photo and social / Apple sign-in links
• Saved shipping addresses and your cart
• Kundali / birth details, palm and vastu readings, and the photos you uploaded for them
• Chat messages you sent (including photos and voice notes), chat blocks and reports you filed
• Notifications, notification settings, and the push / call tokens of all your devices
• Your login sessions on every device (you are signed out everywhere)

Ratings you gave astrologers stay in their average score, but they are no longer linked to you. Messages other people sent you remain in their own chat history.

What we keep, and for how long

Transaction records (orders, payments, consultation bookings, invoices and payment-gateway references) are retained for 7 years from the date of the transaction for tax and accounting purposes as required by Nepali law. They are de-identified: they keep only amounts, reference numbers and dates and are no longer linked to your name, email, phone or address. They are deleted at the end of the retention period. Unpaid future bookings are cancelled. Paid future bookings stay on record so they can be refunded or settled.

Delete from the app

You can also delete your account in the Sanatan Sewa app: Profile → Delete Account. It takes effect straight away.

To protect your account, we email a one-time confirmation link to the account's email address. Your account is deleted only after you open that link and confirm. If you signed up with a phone number only, delete your account from the app or email [email protected].
