Astrologer / Priest Chetanarayan Lamichhane

From an early age, Chetanarayan Lamichhane studied in a Gurukul and completed his primary education at the Gurukul Bhagavat Sanyas Ashram located in Pashupati Ram Mandir. He then pursued higher studies at Simanteshwar Sanskrit College, Varanasi (Purv Madhyama), Tridandi Ved Sanskrit Higher Secondary School, Ayodhya (Uttar Madhyama), completed the One-Year B.Ed. in Education and Shastri degree from Nepal Sanskrit University, earned the Acharya degree from Valmiki Vidyapeeth, and finally accomplished his Master’s Degree (M.A.) from Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur.

As a Jyotish/Pandit, he has profound knowledge in various Vedic Yagyas, rituals, and Bhagavat Purana. He also has experience conducting training programs on Vedas, grammar, rituals (Karmakanda), and astrology. Moreover, he has worked as a re-editor for books published by the Nepal Academy (Nepal Pragya Pratishthan). Alongside, he has contributed to Nepali literature by composing various spiritual poems.

He has served as the editor of Muktinath Sandesh and has been actively engaged in various media platforms including newspapers and magazines. With wide experience of providing consultations both within Nepal and abroad, he is currently serving as the chief astrologer at Sanatan Seva.

For the past 20 years, he has been teaching Vedas, grammar, rituals, Bhagavat, astrology, and related subjects in various Gurukuls and schools. At present, he is working as a permanent teacher and principal at Maharshi Vedavyas Sanskrit Gurukul, Damauli, Tanahun.
