Pooja room is the center of positive energy of the house. Therefore, special care should be taken while building the Vastu house of the pooja room. Pooja rooms are often neglected due to other obstacles and lack of space, but having a temple in the pooja room or home and keeping it in the right place is a sure way to reduce negative vibrations.

According to Vastu, the pooja room should be in Ishan angle (east-north direction). God resides in the east and north and positive energy comes from this direction. East and North are also considered good alternatives. West is not considered very auspicious. South is considered inauspicious. South direction means Pitru work, Shraddhas are taken only.   If you have windows in the east-north, it is better to keep them open. While worshiping, we should face God or face east-north.
Remember that your feet should not be towards the temple when you are sleeping. Do not place the pooja room under the staircase or next to the wall of the bathroom, it is considered inauspicious.

If the pooja room is not in place, it has been found that people lack positive energy to work, become lazy, try to avoid every work and think that they will do it tomorrow. In terms of health, complete health has also been found and family discord has increased.

It is considered auspicious to use copper, brass and silver utensils in the puja room.
